Wrong type of furnace was installed in a attic

This is a home located in St. George Utah. The customer reported her furnace had stopped working. After arriving on the scene we came across this disaster of a mess. Someone had installed a 90 percent condensing furnace unit in the attic. The correct remedy for this is replacing the entire furnace with an 80 percent non condensing furnace.  Luckily the knucklehead who installed this furnace had the decency to install a drip pan to keep the water from dripping onto the attic floor causing even more repairs and headaches.
